With Elections coming this next year, I think it would be great to have some polical discussions. Who is elected could very well effect our lives for decades to come.

Ok Deloy, How do you want to get this started? I know of at least one Democrat that may be watching this forum.

Well, as far as politics go, I was rooting for Romney or Huckabee. But since they're both gone, I guess I'm technically stuck with McCain. To be quite honest, I don't really mind if a democrat takes the White House, as long as it's not Hillary

Forget the Democrats Vote for the oldest so we won't have to pay them so much retirement non of them are worth anything anyway. With McCain who is 70 his retirement should not be to long. :P

If you plan to buy a gun you have a few months left. Better hurry!! Remember the Hill-Bill Clinton bans we had before.

Libertarian Wackos

Postby chuckarama on Thu May 15, 2008 1:36 pm

Don't forget the one Libertarian Wacko in the group...

Those of you who may know Bob Barr may be interested to know he has been the Libertarian Party Chairman for the last several years now and is making a bid for the LP Presidential candidate. The other Libertarian I like is Wayne Allyn Root who declares WAR on everything.

The Constitution Party has just wrapped up their convention a couple weeks ago as well, where my favorite Alan Keyes was beat by Baldwin. The interesting thing there for me is that a very good friend of mine, Scott Bradley from Hyde Park, has been recruited as his VP candidate. So there will be a Utahn on the presidential ballot this year! (Theres a chance Scott may back out, but he seems pretty keen on it so far)
